I've lived in Texas my entire life, in DFW since 1990 and in Grapevine since 1990. My husband and I have 2 biological daughters and 2 special bonuses who live with us and are like our own. I'm a passionate advocate and volunteer, especially around causes involving children; love to be outdoors and travel, cook and read; love technology; and of course, love photography. I'm mostly self-taught and because of ever-evolving technology, my quest for learning never ends. I absolutely love using technology to create something beautiful and meaningful! I can look at a photograph and am instantly flooded with memories of that person, time, and place. 

I started this as a business when my friends began asking me to take photos of their kids, especially in high school. As I researched professional photographers/mentors and studied business models, there was so much advice about making as much money as possible, high school senior model programs, $10,000 print sales per client, defining a set style, and using social media to constantly be in front of existing and potential customers. To be honest, I struggled with all of that, it just wasn't ME. I've structured my business based on what I want as a photographer and what I would want in photos. I'm not the Neiman Marcus (or Lululemon) of photographers but I'm also not Walmart! Here is what I believe sets me apart from others: 

• You can book me and get your edited photos rather quickly because I don't have programs that keep me booked way in advance, nor do I book sessions back-to-back;
• I photograph and edit all my own images, don't limit the number of them to give to you, and I can tailor the editing style to your needs and wants;
• I set my pricing after talking with you which means I will consider what you want and what is going on in your life;
• I'm always available to help you before or after the session whether that's for clothing choices, where to shoot the session, navigating technology, and anything else that you need;
• I'm very easy-going, calm, friendly and open-minded and can connect with babies, children, pets, older adults and any challenges that come.
